Blue Eyed Streaker

Rare Beauty and Temperament

Blue Eyed Streaker   Blue Eyed Streaker

We are very fortunate to stand Blue Eyed Streaker, a 1993 15.3 hand dual registered JC/APHA stallion by stakes placed Blue Gazi. Blue Eyed Streaker has a temperament as rare as his color, and can be ridden and handled with ease in the company of both mares and geldings.

Color Genetics

Blue Eyed Streaker Blue Eyed Streaker

Blue Eyed Streaker has been genetics tested and is positive for  the Frame Overo gene, unique to only a few known bloodlines in Thoroughbreds today. He also exhibits strong sabino characteristics, with white markings on all four of his legs and heavily roaned patches scattered on his body. He is homozygous for Black and the Agouti Gene, and therefore will never produce a chestnut foal.  When bred to a dilute, he will always produce a buckskin or bay.  When bred to gray mares, offspring may turn gray if they receive the gene from their dam. He is a strong color producer and often passes his captivating blue eyes.
